Chaos in Thai Parliament! Palang Pracharat Requests to Defer the Session!
Palang Pracharat has requested to defer the session in the parliament. The session will resume in the afternoon at 13:00.
Earlier in the day, the Democrat Party has submitted Mr. Chuan Leekpai to the position of the Speaker of House of Representatives while the Pheu Thai Party submitted Mr. Sompong Amornvivat be the candidate as well.
It has been reported that Palang Pracharat Party will vote for the Democrat’s Chuan with an approximate of 253 votes.
However, as the session goes by, the reporter has stated that Palang Pracharat Party had requested to defer the session and was opposed by the opposition; the Pheu Thai Party and Future Forward Party.
Thus, Mr. Chai Chidchob as a speaker had halted the session to ease the tension and stated that it will resume in the afternoon at 13:00.
