Abhisit Vejjajiva, the former leader of the Democrat Party and Thai PM, has announced his resignation from being a MP on June 5, 2019, to stand his ground on not supporting Prayut Chan-o-cha as a prime minister candidate after the Democrat Party had announced its coalition in joining Palang Pracharat Party yesterday.
