In 2Q19, BFIT recorded a net profit of THB 19.15 million, plunged THB 71.56 million or 78.89%. The decrease was mainly due to higher operating expense.
Srisawad Finance Public Company Limited (BFIT) has reported its 2Q19 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows:
The operating results of BFIT for the second quarter of year 2019 showed a net profit of THB 19.15 million, a decrease of THB 71.56 million or 78.89%, compared with a net profit of THB 90.71 million obtained during the same period of year 2018.
The plummet of profit in the second quarter was mainly due to an increase of other operating expenses by THB 321.51 million which was mainly caused by the following:
1) An increase of loan management fee by THB 258.93 million due to the growth of loan portfolio as described in no.1
2) An increase of tax and duties expenses by THB 12.50 million which is in line with an increase of interest income from loans.
3) An increase of personnel expenses, premises and equipment expenses and other expenses by THB 50.08 million according to growth in loan portfolio and business expansion.
