CHOW Establishes a Subsidiary in Australia and Moves Forward to Operate Solar Farm Business


Chow Steel Industries Public Company Limited (CHOW)’s board of directors have approved to establish a new subsidiary company, which CHOW holds 100% share, to operate the business in Australia.

Mr. Suppachai Yimsuwan, Deputy Managing Director, Vice President of Finance and Administration, Acting in Vice President of Accounting of CHOW said that CHOW has been studying renewable energy in Australia for more than 2 years. Currently, CHOW has experience and expertise in the renewable energy business from expanding the business to Japan. Therefore, it’s time to get ready for opening a new market in Australia.  Furthermore, CHOW has planned to expand renewable energy businesses in the type of solar power plant to overseas beside Thailand and Japan.

The new market which CHOW has just fully opened was in Australia. Australia is the biggest and the most modern solar renewable energy market in the world by supporting from the Australian government which would like to change from fossil fuels to renewable energy for reducing the impact on global warming.

CHOW is an expert in the business and readiness in both technologies and experts. Therefore, it is a good opportunity to expand the renewable energy market to Australia. Meanwhile, a subsidiary company has already established in Australia and it is in the process of setting the investment plan.
