“Peeraphong” Asserts a Rumor of Capital Increase is Baseless, Affirming a Strong Business

In today’s trading session, the share price of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI) sharply fell ฿1.25 or 13.30% to ฿8.15/share with a trading value of ฿926 million, posting the biggest decline since October 2015 with a trading volume of 6.4x over 3 months daily average. The decline was due to a rumor of a capital increase plan, causing an alarm in the trading room.

Later today, Mr. Peerapong Jaroon-Ek, Chief Executive Officer of ORI, has asserted that the rumor of capital increase was baseless and also insisted that ORI’s business was still normal and “very strong.”
