China Opens to “Calm” Negotiation, Saying No Winner amid the Escalation of Trade War

China’s Vice Premier Liu He said in the conference at Chongqing that China is willing to talk with the U.S. through “calm” negotiation.

“We believe that the escalation of the trade war is not beneficial for China, the United States, nor to the interests of the people of the world,” said China’s Vice Premier Liu He in the conference at Chongqing, adding that China is willing to talk with the U.S. through “calm” negotiation.

Following a heavy plummet of Asia markets in the morning session, Vice Premier Liu He has finally said the magical word to ease the tension while sending a message to all investors that China is willing to negotiate.

The negative sentiment spread all over the market after the tension of trade war between the U.S. and China escalated last Friday, resulting in a salvo between two economic giants.

“We welcome all enterprises around the world, including US companies to invest and operate in China,” added Liu He.
