BANPU Jumps 10% to ฿12.60 to Response the Share Repurchase Program and ฿0.35 Dividend

As of 10:20 local time in Thailand, the share price of Banpu Public Company Limited (BANPU) was ฿12.60/share, jumped ฿1.10/share or 9.57% with a trading value of 403 million baht. The highest share price as of 10:20 was ฿12.70/share and the lowest was ฿12.40/share.

The rise of BANPU share price might be due to the announcement of  the share repurchase program for financial management purposes in the maximum amount not exceeding 5,000 million baht and the number of shares to be repurchased is not exceeding 7.5% of the total issued shares.

Moreover, the company had also resolved to approve an interim dividend at ฿0.35/share to its shareholders. The ex-dividend date will be September 11, 2019, and the payment date will be on September 27, 2019.
