PTT Plans a Partnership with Chinese “WM Motor” to Produce Localize EV in Thailand!

On September 10, 2019 PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) has made an announcement on its Facebook page, saying that the company is looking into the possibility of a partnership with Chinese startup WM Motor Technology to manufacture electric vehicles in Thailand.

PTT asserted that in the cooperation with WM Motor, the company could further its business in battery and plastics businesses. PTT will evaluate if it can be the authorized domestic and Southeast Asian export distributor for WM Motor.

In addition, the partnership may conduct research and development for EV batteries.
