“Prayut” Says the High-Speed Railway Deal Is Set to Sign on October 25, 2019.
Prime Minister Prayut Chan-Ocha told reporters after a weekly Cabinet meeting Tuesday that the cabinet had approved the appointment of a new State Railway of Thailand board, paving the way to the signing of the High-Speed Railway connecting three airports project, led by Charoen Pokphand Group or CP Consortium (CPH).
PM Prayut said that he had received a notice from the Deputy Prime Minister of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul, and the Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob regarding the signing scheduled date and is expected CPH to sign the deal on October 25, 2019.
The CP Consortium (CPH) consisted of Charoen Pokphand Group (CP), Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD), China Railway Construction Corporation Limited (CRCC), CH. Karnchang Public Company Limited (CK) and Bangkok Express and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM).
