BGRIM, GPSC, OSP and SAWAD Join MSCI Global Standard while MSCI Small Cap adds CENTEL, DOHOME, JMT, SPRC, STPI, TPIPP and TQM.
MSCI Inc., a leading provider of research-based indexes and analytics, announced the results of the November 2019 Semi-Annual Index Review for the MSCI Equity Indexes – including the MSCI Global Standard, MSCI Global Small Cap Index, the MSCI Emerging Markets Indexes, the MSCI China A indexes, the MSCI China All Shares Indexes and others.
Upon this review, Thai stocks were being added into two of MSCI major indices. B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM), Global Power Synergy Public Company Limited (GPSC), Osotspa Public Company Limited (OSP) and Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited (SAWAD) were added into MSCI Global Standard Indexes.
Yesterday, BGRIM closed at ฿51.25/share, increased ฿0.75/share or 1.49%. GPSC closed at ฿82.00/share, increased ฿0.25/share or 0.31%. OSP closed at ฿44.00/share, increased ฿0.75/share or 1.73%. SAWAD closed flat at ฿62.75/share.
Meanwhile, Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (CENTEL), DoHome Public Company Limited (DOHOME), JMT Network Services Public Company Limited (JMT), Star Petroleum Refining Public Company Limited (SPRC), STP&I Public Company Limited (STPI), TPI Polene Power Public Company Limited (TPIPP) and TQM Corporation Public Company Limited (TQM) had made it into MSCI Global Small Cap Index.
Yesterday, CENTEL closed at ฿29.50/share, increased ฿0.75/share or 2.61%. DOHOME closed at ฿11.10/share, increased ฿0.10/share or 0.91%. JMT closed at ฿20.80/share, increased ฿0.10/share or 0.48%. SPRC closed at ฿9.65/share, increase ฿0.60/share or 6.63%. STPI closed at ฿6.15/share, increased ฿0.20/share or 3.36%. TPIPP closed at ฿4.88/share, increased ฿0.20/share or 4.27%. TQM closed at ฿52.50/share, increased ฿2.75/share or 5.53%.
However, there were three deletions from MSCI Global Small Cap Index, which were Carabao Group Public Company Limited (CBG), Tisco Financial Group Public Company Limited (TISCO) while SAWAD moved to MSCI Global Standard Indexes.
Yesterday, CBG closed at ฿84.25/share, increased ฿0.25/share or 0.30%. TISCO closed at ฿98.75/share, increased ฿0.50/share or 0.51%.
All changes will be implemented as of the close of November 26, 2019.
