CWT Reveals 374 Subscriptions of SakunC’s Bus, Expecting to Add ฿2.4bn of Revenue in 2020

Mr. Weerapon Chaiteerath, Chairman of the Board Director of Chai Watana Tannery Group Public Company Limited (CWT), has revealed that its subsidiary, SakunC Innovation Company Limited (SakunC), a Thai designer and producer of modern vehicle in which CWT holds 50.01% stake, will deliver the first shipment containing 25 “C Bus by Sakun.c” to its customers by January 2020.

 

C Bus by Sakun.c is an aluminum bus, designed and produced by Sakun C, first debuted at Bus & Truck 2019 event last month and gained a lot of interest from the local and foreign audience. At the end of the event, SakunC recorded a total of 374 subscriptions for “C Bus by Sakun.c” while the company keeps having contact from customers who are interested in the bus.

Mr. Weerapon stated that the company is well-prepared for the production of “C Bus by Sakun.c” and will hasten the production in order to deliver the bus to its customers as soon as possible.

“C Bus by Sakun.c had higher-than-expected interest from the audience with its considerably cheap prices when compared to its performance and the quality of parts used in the production such as the light aluminum chassis that will reduce fuel consumption while having high endurance and safety as well as anti-corrosion,” said Mr. Weerapon. “The company expected revenue from the delivery of C Bus by Sakun.c in 2020 to be around 2,400 million baht which CWT will recognize the revenue according to the stakeholding,” added Mr. Weerapon.
