ACE Emphasizes the Strength of PP Business, Expecting to Run 1,000MW within 2024

Ms. Jiratha Songmetta, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Absolute Clean Energy Public Company Limited (ACE), stated that the company has plans to expand its business continuously in 2020 by participating in the bidding for renewable energy power plant projects with an installed capacity of 700 MW and a community waste-to-energy power plant with an installed capacity of 400 MW.

The company is well prepared in every aspect for this opportunity such as the experience, the R&D department, financial as well as experienced executives and engineers in the field.

As for the four SPP Hybrid Power Plant Projects, Ms. Jiratha said that the projects are in the process of requesting an extension for the agreement signing and are expected to get an approval from EIA within the first quarter of 2020.

 

Mr. Tanachai Bunditvorapoom, Chief Executive Officer of ACE, revealed that the company plans to expand the production capacity by one fold from the current 212.18 MW. In the long-term plans, the company is expected to increase its total capacity to 1,000 MW within 2024.

In addition, Mr. Tanachai said that the company has strong business fundamentals while its performance also rises nonstop. In the nine-month period in 2019, ACE had 3,399 million baht of revenue, increased 4.2% along with a net profit of 570 million baht, increased 33% when compared to the same period of last year.
