THAI Ignores NOK’s Newly Issued Shares, Resulting in a Reduction of 2.65% in Stakeholding

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) has announced a change in shareholding of Nok Airlines Public Company Limited (NOK) due to the waving of newly issued ordinary shares in NOK.

 

Referring to the sale of newly issued ordinary shares of Nok Airlines Public Company Limited (NOK) to the existing shareholders in proportion to their respective shareholdings (Right Offering), at the price of 2.50 Baht, at the allocation ratio of 3.5 existing shares to 1 newly issued ordinary shares. On February 14, 2020, NOK has reported a subscription result to the Stock Exchange of Thailand which showed 620,670,967 subscribed shares and 267,476,391 remaining shares. THAI, as a shareholder in NOK, has waived its right to subscribe the 141,540,206 ordinary share total amount of Baht 353.8 million.

In this regard, THAI’s stakeholding in NOK will decrease from 15.94% to 13.28%, representing a reduction of 2.65%.
