Thai exports grow 3.35%, posting an increase for the first time in six months, while imports contract 7.86% with a deficit of USD 1,555 million.
The Ministry of Commerce has announced that Thai exports in January 2020 rebounded 3.35%, beating a forecast of 3.1% – 2.9% contraction. The rise in January was the first time in six months with an export value of USD 21,181 million. Meanwhile, imports contracted 7.86% to post a deficit of USD 1,555 million.
