THAI Diminishes Flights and Traffics, Implementing Measures to Manage COVID-19 Impact.
On March 2, 2020, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) reported its primary resolution to handle COVID-19.
According to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus which has become widespread continuously in many countries causing Thai governments and governments from other countries to prohibit or advise their citizens to refrain from traveling to countries that are spread which inevitably affects aviation and tourism industry.
As a result, THAI has to diminish its flights and traffic production in accordance with the number of passengers that have significantly decreased which affects THAI’s operations as it is currently in the high season of the business.
However, THAI is in the process of implementing measures to effectively manage the impact from the COVID-19 virus by establishing a working group for problem resolution to supervise and monitor closely to handle current situations which still no sign of relief but even more violence and metastasis in Europe and many other countries now.
