Institutions Continue the Buyback after a Long-Selloff, Buoying SET with ฿6bn Net Buy

– SET closed at 1,390.83 points, increased 12.22 points or 0.89% with a trading value of 66.8 billion baht. The analyst stated that stocks in Asia rallied in response to new measurements announced from other countries to fight the virus outbreak while the Thai Economic Cabinet will hold a meeting tomorrow, causing a buying pressure to flow in the stock market, especially the tourism sector.

However, if the virus still remain, the analyst believed that the stimulus plan could be tanked or less effective.

The support level for tomorrow’s session is at 1,380-1,385 points and a resistance level at 1,400-1,410 points.

– Local Institutions began the buyback with a net buy of 6.1 billion baht to keep SET Index to close higher by 12 points.
