Trump Bans All Travel to Europe, Liquidating $200bn and Defer Tax Payments

The U.S. had suspended all travel from Europe, the U.S. President Donald Trump announced from the Oval Office at the White House.

After 1,135 confirmed cases of the virus in the US and 38 deaths, Trump decided to make a strong but necessary restriction on all travelling to Europe for 30 days, excluding the UK.

In order to support small businesses, Trump will provide $200 billion in additional liquidity while the US Treasury will defer some tax payments.
