Breaking News! SET Adjusts Floor/Ceiling to 15% and Lower Circuit Breaker to 8%!

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has made an official adjustment to limit the floor and ceiling price from a 30% gain/loss to a 15% gain/loss.

The First Stage of Circuit Breaker limit has been adjusted from a 30 minutes halt after a 10% decline to a 30 minutes halt after an 8% decline. The second stage will be a 30 minutes halt after a 15% decline, and the third stage will be a 30 minutes halt after a 20% decline.

The two adjustments will be effective from March 18, 2020 and not further than June 30, 2020. The SET affirmed that there will be no suspension, but the adjustments were made to limit the decline of SET Index.
