The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) is considering to adjust the trading hours to be in line with the emergency decree, said the source close to the matter.
To be in line with the emergency decree, announced by the Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on March 24 in which a curfew was expected to be announced in a later date, SET is considering to adjust new trading hours from 10:00-12:30 and 14:30-16:30 to 10:00-12:30 and 12:50-14:15.
Nevertheless, SET has yet to make any official announcement regarding this matter, but could be a preparation in case of an escalation of the coronavirus outbreak.
