Shrewsbury’s Director Notifies School Community of Positive COVID-19, Says in Good Care
Shrewsbury’s Director Notifies School Community of Positive COVID-19, Says in Good Care of Healthcare Professionals.
Mr. Stephen Holroyd, Director of Shrewsbury, has published a letter to notify the school communities of his coronavirus test. The letter was written as follows;
Dear Parents, Colleagues and Friends,
As you will be aware, I was due to finish my employment with Shrewsbury at the end of this month – and had booked a flight to return to the UK.
However, having travelled for work to China and Hong Kong in January, I did not want to get on a flight unless I was sure that I was not carrying COVID-19.
And so, before taking the flight, I took the test – and yesterday evening the result came back positive for COVID-19.
I am now in the care of healthcare professionals here in Bangkok and working closely with my local District Health Authority.
If you have a very specific cause for concerns raised by this news, please reach out to me via email at [email protected] and I will do my best to respond in good time.
My best wishes to the whole Shrewsbury community.
Stephen Holroyd
Director of Schools
