BAM Makes a 2-Day Rally for 11%, Expecting to Book ฿4bn of Revenue from DTA in 2020!
The share price of Bangkok Commercial Asset Management Public Company Limited (BAM) edged higher for the second day after “Kaohoon Turakij” has reported that BAM would book a deferred tax asset (DTA), approved by the Revenue Department, for a total of 3-4 billion baht into its revenue within this year.
BAM closed the morning session on Wednesday, April 1 at ฿20.90/share, increased ฿0.90/share or 4.5%. The share rose 11.1% in two days.
The amount from DTA would have supported BAM revenue in 2020 to meet analysts forecast and the company’s target. Moreover, the company also issued a dividend of ฿1.05/share (5% yield) to be paid on April 24, 2020. The ex-dividend date is April 8, 2020.
BAM asserted that the company would purchase more assets this year around 12 billion baht. Meanwhile, the outbreak of coronavirus did not affect the company’s operations and revenue forecast in the first quarter. As for further effect from the outbreak, the company would make further analysis, depending on how long the outbreak will take. Nevertheless, BAM expected the revenue to be close to last year’s revenue.
