CPF Expresses Condolence on the Passing of “Pakpoom Vallisuta” from Contracting COVID-19.
Charoen Pokphand Foods Public Company Limited (CPF) expressed its condolence in a letter published April 1, 2020, on the passing of Mr. Pakpoom Vallisuta, Chairman of the Quant Group, which is a financial advisor of CPF, from contracting COVID-19.
The company stated that Mr. Pakpoom and CPF’s executives went to London to negotiate the deal with Tesco. CPF’s executives returned to Thailand on March 9, 2020, without Mr. Pakpoom.
Upon the arrival, the executives followed all the quarantine procedures as instructed and strictly. And after receiving the news that the group in the Tesco Deal contracted COVID-19, CPF’s executives did not neglect and went to the hospital for a check-up in which the results came negative on all executives. Moreover, the company also had a policy for 3 weeks self-quarantine. All executives are currently in their good health.
