Boris Johnson Stays in “Intensive Care” Unit after the Coronavirus Symptoms “Worsened”

The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson had been transferred to an intensive care unit on Monday after his condition with coronavirus symptoms “worsened”.

 

Johnson was reportedly admitted to the hospital on Sunday for his tests on his lingering symptoms of coronavirus which he tested positive 11 days ago.

“Over the course of this afternoon, the condition of the Prime Minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital,” a Downing Street spokesperson said.

The escalation on Johnson’s condition was questioned by the public where Downing Street officials said earlier that his condition was “mild” during his self-isolation and said that the hospitalization on Sunday was just a precautionary step.
