Kim is Alive and Well, N.Korea Media Reports on His Factory Openning Attendance

North Korea leader Kim Jong Un appeared at the opening ceremony of a fertilizer factory in North Korea, reported state media on Saturday.

After weeks of disappearance, causing rumours for his illness and even death by global media, Kim made his appearance at the opening ceremony of Sunchon Phosphatic Fertilizer Factory on Friday, according to the state media, Yonhap. Kim was accompanied by his sister Kim Yo Jong and other aides.

The news showed a picture of Kim cutting a red ribbon at the factory, reported Yonhap. “Thunderous applause,” wrote the media on the news of Kim attending the ceremony.
