SET Sees a Sudden Plummet, Dropping 22pts after European and Dow Futures Decline!

The European market opened lower on June 9, 2020, after a series of rallies in the past week. Meanwhile, Dow Jones Futures pointed to open lower as well after a huge gain last night.

 

As of 15:00 local time in Thailand (GMT+70), DAX dropped 0.88%, FTSE dipped 0.63%, CAC lost 0.72%, FTSE MIB plunged 1.67% and STOXX600 fell 0.45%.

Overnight, Dow Jones soared 461.46 points or 1.70% to close at 27,572.44 points. S&P 500 turned positive for the year with a gain of 38.46 points or 1.20% to settle at 3,232.39 points. Meanwhile, Nasdaq closed 1.13% higher and already well passed the positive line for the year.

However, Dow Jones Futures pointed to open lower with a drop of 271 points or 0.98%. S&P 500 Futures dropped 0.88% and Nasdaq Futures lost 0.55%.

 

SET Index after closing at a positive territory in the morning session saw a sudden plummet in the afternoon with a drop of 22.06 points or 1.53% to 1,416.60 points.
