EECO-BBS Inks the ฿290m Deal to Develop “Eastern Airport City Project”!

The Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO) and the BBS Consortium signed a joint venture agreement on June 19, 2020, to invest in Eastern Airport City Project at U-Tapao Airport with an honour of the Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha as a chairman in the signing ceremony.

The total investment of this project is 290 billion baht, expecting to be ready for operation as a regional center hub in 2024.

 

The BBS Consortium consists of BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (BTS) (35% stake), Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (BA) with 45% stake and Sino-Thai Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited (STEC) with 20% stake.
