Hope Rises as PTT Might Allocate ฿800Bn Retained Earnings for Interim Dividend!

PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) is expected to pay an interim dividend payment from its retained earnings for a total of 800 billion baht, revealed a source close to the matter.

 

A source who asked not to be named stated that there is a high possibility for PTT to issue an interim dividend payment from its retained earnings which currently has 830 billion baht, even though the operation in this year was affected by the coronavirus outbreak and the oil price war. However, the payment could be less than the previous payment.

 

Mr. Krairit Euchukanochai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PTT, stated that the company will definitely pay a dividend payment, even though the earnings in 2020 might be lower than what the company made in 2019. As for the interim dividend payment, Mr. Krairit said the the matter must be discussed and approved by the cabinet.
