2 MCOT’s Directors Resign in Disapproval of Company’s Action toward NBTC Compensation.
MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT) has announced that two of its directors have resigned from the company due to disapproval of MCOT’s letter submitted to the National Broadcast and Telecommunication Commission by MCOT’s President, on June 4, 2020.
1) Mr. Suvit Nakpeerayuth, from his positions as Director of MCOT Plc. and Member of Audit Committee and other committees effective from July 20, 2020
2) Mr. Marut Buranasetkul, from his position as Director of MCOT Plc. and Member of other committees effective from July 20, 2020
MCOT stated that it will proceed with the selection and appointment of new directors, who are legally qualified and possess no prohibited characteristics as prescribed in the company’s Articles of Association and relevant laws, and will inform its shareholders of such appointment.
