MCOT Records a Loss of ฿183M in 2Q from Higher Expenses and Suspends Dividend Payment.
MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT) has reported its 2Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
MCOT reported a net loss of 183 million baht in 2Q20, decreased from a net profit of 287 million baht in 2Q19 as total revenue dropped and expenses rose.
In 2Q20, MCOT’s total revenue was 319 million baht, decreased 33% compared to a revenue of 476 million baht in the same period of last year. Meanwhile, total expenses increased by 137% from 211 million baht in 2Q19 to 500 million baht in 2Q20.
The company’s Board of Directors also approved the resolution to suspend an interim dividend payment.
