Trump Ignores WHO’s Covid-19 Vaccine Development as Global Cases Hit 26 Million!

The total coronavirus cases surpassed 26 million on Wednesday, September 2, as worries grow over the move by the Trump’s administration of not participating in an international effort to develop and distribute a COVID-19 vaccine that is supported by the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

A few months after the outbreak in America, the U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that WHO tried to cover up for China’s Covid report and failed to gather information from China to alert other countries of this pandemic. The president went as far as accusing the organization to be under control of Beijing. Later, Trump pulled the U.S. out of WHO, meaning that the state will no longer provide funds to the organization.

 

“The United States will continue to engage our international partners to ensure we defeat this virus, but we will not be constrained by multilateral organizations influenced by the corrupt World Health Organization and China,” said White House spokesman Judd Deere.
