Thailand Reports First Local-Virus Case in 100 Days! MOPH Orders Urgent Investigation!

The Ministry of Public Health of Thailand announced that one of the detainees tested positive for the Covid-19 during his quarantine before being transferred to the prison. The Ministry of Public Health stated that the detainee did not travel outside Thailand, but work in a restaurant around Rama 3 Road and Khaosan Road.

 

The state officials ordered a closure to the said restaurant for three days and are now tracking suspected individuals for testing.

 

This is the first local virus case in Thailand after 100 days of zero locally-transmitted Covid-19 cases.
