SET Jumps 10pts as Oversold Shares Recover from Losses and a Series of Plummet.
SET Index jumped 10 points to 1,255.03 in the morning session on September 28, 2020, after a series of plummets last week. The market was also buoyed by the positive sentiment from the U.S. market that closed higher last Friday, especially Nasdaq Composite that rose 2.26%.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index rose 10.09 points or 0.81% to 1,255.03 points at the opening bell
The analyst stated that oversold stocks in the Thai stock market were able to rebound after a long plunge and was also buoyed by a window dressing as the third quarter of 2020 is drawing near. The analyst expected SET Index to move between 1,230-1,260 points.
