Lower Sales Revenue Pressures GFPT to Report a Drop of 9% in 3Q Earnings

GFPT Public Company Limited (GFPT) has reported its 3Q20 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;

GFPT reported a net profit of 342 million baht in 3Q20, decreased 8.93% compared to the same period of last year.

The company had total revenue from sales of 3,619.65 million baht in the quarter, representing a decrease of 924.60 million baht or 20.35% from 3Q19. The decrease was mainly from lower revenue of chicken processing business which decreased by 842.94 million million or 37.27% compared to 3Q19 mainly from lower revenue from direct export processed chicken products.
