NER Projects to Reach ฿24Bn in Revenue by 2021, Supporting by High Demand-Selling Prices
NER Projects to Reach ฿24Bn in Revenue by 2021, Supporting by High Demand and Selling Prices.
Mr. Chuwit Jungtanasomboon, Chief Executive Officer of North East Rubber Public Company Limited (NER), set a target for the company’s revenue in 2021 at 21-24 billion baht to correspond with selling volume that reached 410,000 tonnes.
The CEO believed that the selling prices would continue to incline due to the demand for rubber gloves. Even when the pandemic started to get better, resulting in lower demand for rubber gloves, the company would still benefit from a recovery in tire demand in the auto industry, as well as the aviation industry and others.
Mr. Chuwit expected the company to record 17,000 million baht in revenue this year with a selling volume of 365,000 tonnes, all in line with NER’s projection. The results are contributed by the company’s forward-order sales, coupled with an incline in selling prices, making the gross profit margin for the company’s product expanded.
