Breaking News! The Court Rejects Petition to Disqualify “Prayuth”as Thai PM

Thai Constitutional Court dismissed a petition to disqualify Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-Ocha in an allegation of breaking ethical rules.

 

The court issued a ruling over the allegation brought by the opposition leader, stating that the Thai PM did not violate the constitution by staying in a military-funded house in Bangkok after his retirement, resulting in him continuing his job as a prime minister.

The court unanimously voted in favour of the Thai PM, stating that the PM has the right to use the military-funded house as a former commander.
