Thai Exports Contract 3.65% in November, Expecting a 4% Growth in 2021.
The Trade Policy and Strategy Office (TPSO) announced that Thai exports in November contracted 3.65% to record a value of 18,932.66 million dollars, while imports recorded a value of 18,880.07 million dollars, representing a contraction of 0.99%. The trading value has a surplus of 52.59 million dollars in November.
As for the 11-month period, Thai exports still contracted by 6.92%, while imports contracted by 13.74%.
The Ministry of Commerce expected Thai exports in 2020 could contract less than 7%, while estimating a 4% growth next year.
