SET Lifts “H” Sign Off SGP after Clarifying on the 25% Stake of Big Lot Transaction for a Restructuring Plan.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has lifted the “Halt” (H) sign on Siamgas and Petrochemicals Public Company Limited (SGP) after the company clarified the big lot transaction in the proportion of 25% of paid up capital.
SGP stated that its major shareholder, Mr. Worawit Weeraborwornpong, has a plan to restructure the company’s shareholding structure to be in accordance with a long term investment plan. The Major Shareholder shall maintain the total shareholding proportion of the company’s shares to be the same, at 39.60 percent of the total issued and paid-up shares of the company.
The acquisition of shares will result in WW holding Co., Ltd., holding 25.00 percent of the total issued and paid-up shares of SGP.
Furthermore, SGP stated that the change in the shareholding structure of major shareholders has no impact on the company’s management structure, policy setting, and control over the management of the company.
After the shareholding restructures, SGP remains having the same major shareholder as its ultimate shareholder, that is Mr. Worawit Weeraborwornpong.
