TKN Denies Rumors of Selling Shares and Delisting, Affirming Strategies to Move Forward.
Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited (TKN) has made a clarification on February 8, 2021, denying the rumors on a deal to sell the company’s shares to an investor and that the shares of TKN may be delisted from the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
The company stated that in accordance with the yearly operational strategies, TKN plans to grow its business in order to keep up with its competitors in the market and one of the strategies is exploring appropriate business alliances. However, at present, there is no clear progress.
Accordingly, TKN affirmed that such rumors are not true. The group of major shareholders of the company retains more than 50% shareholding in the company and there is no policy to delist the securities of the company from the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
