RATCH’s 2020 Profit Edges Higher to ฿6.2Bn due to Share of Profit from Subsidiaries and FX Gains, Offering a Dividend Payment of Bt1.25/Share.
Ratch Group Public Company Limited (RATCH) has reported its yearly consolidated financial statement of 2020 through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
In 2020, RATCH reported a net profit of 6,286 million baht, increased 5.42% from a net profit of 5,963 million baht in 2019. The increase is owing to the increase in the share of profit of associates and joint ventures such as Hongsa Power Company Limited, Nava Nakorn Electricity Generating Company Limited, Berkprai Cogeneration Company Limited, Eastern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited, and Northern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited.
In addition, the company recognized the gain of FX at a total value of 304 million baht, increased from a net loss of 132 million baht in 2019. Without the effect of FX of the company and subsidiaries, the operating result for 2020 showed the profit of 5,982.23 million baht.
RATCH’s Board of Directors also approved a dividend payment at a value of ฿1.25/share to be paid on April 23, 2021. The ex-dividend date will be on March 2, 2021.
