Hotel-Trans Stocks Rally amid Vaccine Hopes to Recovery Economic Activities in Thailand

The share price of hotel and transportation stocks edged higher on Tuesday in anticipation of the 200,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine from Sinovac expected to arrive tomorrow.

The share price of Central Plaza Hotel Public Company Limited (CENTEL) rose 7.44% to ฿32.50/share.

Dusit Thani Public Company Limited (DTC) increased 1.32% to ฿7.70/share.

The Erawan Group Public Company Limited (ERW) gained 5.07% to ฿4.54/share.

Minor International Public Company Limited (MINT) jumped 6.90% to ฿31.00/share.

Bangkok Express and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) advanced 1.27% to ฿8.00/share.

BTS Group Holdings Public Company Limited (BTS) rose 1.08% to ฿9.40/share.

Asia Aviation Public Company Limited (AAV) hiked 4.72% to ฿2.66/share.

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) spiked 4.08% to ฿63.75/share.

 

Amid hopes for economic recovery on the progress of vaccine rollouts around the world, risk assets and stock markets have rallied strongly. In Israel, Pfizer and BioNTech showed a 98.9% in preventing deaths from coronavirus.
