VGI Puts ฿36Mn to Acquire “Asia Direct Insurance Broker” to Expand Income-Customer Base

The Board of Directors’ Meeting of VGI Company Public Company Limited (VGI) held on 10 February 2021 resolved to unanimously approve Rabbit Care Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Rabbit Internet Co., Ltd.) (RC), a subsidiary of VGI in which the company holds, through BSS Holdings Co., Ltd., 50.94% of the total number of sold shares, to invest in Asia Direct Insurance Broker Co., Ltd. (ADB) carrying out car insurance broker business via online channels and telesales, by purchasing the entire shares of ADB which is equivalent to 100% from the existing shareholders of ADB with a total value of 36,888,111.89 baht.

VGI expected that the acquisition would expand the income base and customer group, which would increase in value for shareholders.
