Commodity Update March 23, 2021: Oil Prices Remain above $60, Sugar Drops 17% in 1 Month

Yesterday, WTI crude for April delivery closed at USD61.55 per barrel, up USD0.13 or 0.2%, while Brent crude for May delivery closed at USD64.62 per barrel, up USD0.09 or 0.1%. However, both crude prices plunged in the morning session on Tuesday by 1.22%. WTI crude traded at USD60.81, while Brent crude traded at USD63.83 per barrel.

In the meantime, raw sugar continued to decline by 1.46%, making a total of 17.31% drop in one month.
