UNIQ Extends the Gain by 5% after Signing a ฿9.4Bn Project for High-Speed Railway Works

The share price of Unique Engineering and Construction Public Company Limited (UNIQ) rose ฿0.30/share or 5.36% to ฿5.90/share with a trading value of 22.8 million baht as of 10:24 local time in Thailand on Tuesday.

 

Yesterday, UNIQ announced that the company signed the construction contract for the cooperation between the Thai government and the government of the People’s Republic of China on Bangkok-Nong Khai HSR development for regional connectivity (Section 1 : Bangkok-Nakhon Ratchasima) Contract 4-6 Civil Works (Phrakeaw-Saraburi Section) with the State Railway of Thailand with a contract value of 9,428,999,969.37 baht.

 

The construction details are as follows;

1) Construction of Railway Track totaling 31.60 km.

2) Station Building and buildings supporting 7 electrical systems.

3) Removal of the existing station, renovating and relocating of the old road, construction of railway bridges, drainage system work, demolition work of various utilities and other work required for the project.
