“Samitivej” and “Ramkhamhaeng” Cease Covid-19 Screening from Test Kits and Bed Shortage as Total Cases in Thailand Tops 30,000!
The new wave of coronavirus in Thailand that appears to be the third wave has sent total accumulated cases as of April 8, 2021, to 30,310 cases with more than 400 new cases today.
Due to the high volume of people who have come to receive COVID-19 screening at Samitivej Srinakarin Hospital and Ramkhamhaeng Hospital, both hospitals announced this evening that they are experiencing a shortage of COVID-19 testing kits (Samitivej) and beds (Ramkhamhaeng).
In this regard, both hospitals have temporarily ceased Covid-19 screening services until further notice.
