“Patty” Makes an Eagle on the 18th Hole to Take the Lead on 2nd Round of 2021 Honda LPGA
Patty Tavatanakit showed her accuracy and touch on the 18th hole by hitting an eagle to finish the second round with 16-under par.
The second round of the 2021 Honda LPGA in Chonburi, Thailand, finished with two home-country golfers taking the lead for the number one and two spots in the leader board.
2021 ANA Inspiration Champion Patty Tavatanakit showed her accuracy and touch on the 18th hole by making an eagle, adding 8-under par on the second day for a total of 18-under par, separating herself from Atthaya Thitikul on the second place, who was on par with Tavatanakit in the first half of the round two, but hit a bogey on the 17th hole and finished the day with 13-under par.
Ariya Jutanugarn sat at a shared 7th position with 10-under par and Moriya Jutanugarn at 28th with 4-under par.
