The New Cluster in Prisons Send Thailand’s New Cases to Hit a Record High at 9,635!
On May 17, 2021, Thaiand registered a total of 9,635 new coronavirus cases, a record high, as Thai prisons turned into hot spots.
Thailand’s Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on May 17, 2021, reported a record breaking high of 9,635 new coronavirus cases in the country in which 6,853 cases are from prisons. There are also 25 new deaths and 1,397 patients have returned home.
Thailand has a total of 82,219 confirmed cases and a total of 614 deaths.
