BEAUTY Shows a Better Performance in 1Q21 and Lowers the Loss by 60%
Even with a net loss of 15 million baht in 1Q21, BEAUTY did perform better in lowering its net loss from a decrease in selling expenses.
Beauty Community Public Company Limited (BEAUTY) has announced its 1Q21 consolidated financial statement through the Stock Exchange of Thailand as follows;
BEAUTY reported a net loss of 15 million baht in 1Q21, which showed a better performance compared to the same period of last year when the company had a net loss of 39 million baht.
Total revenues for the 1Q21 was 137.41 million baht, decreased by 49.17% from the same period last year due to the impact of Covid-19 outbreak that severely impacted Thailand tourism industry which saw a drastic drop in the tourist number particularly from China.
However, selling expenses in the quarter 60.77 million baht, decreased by 51.32% from the same period last year due to the adjustment of the company’s cost control on every operational process, focusing on management and cost control according to the (Cost Saving Program), such as expenses related to advertising, promotion, fixed costs (by closing non performing branches).
