As of 9:40 local time in Thailand, Nikkei rose 0.12%, SSEC gained 0.54%, HSI increased 0.69%, ASX 200 advanced 0.16%. Meanwhile, Kospi fell 0.18%.
Last night, Dow Jones closed slightly lower by 0.24% at 34,312.46 points, S&P 500 dropped 0.21% and Nasdaq dipped 0.03%.
SET Index closed at 1,568.58 points, increased 16.73 points or 1.08% with a trading value of 88.9 billion baht. The Thai stock market and others in Southeast Asia closed for a holiday today.
Major tech stocks in Wall Street such as Apple and Netflix fell on Tuesday, while airlines and cruise lines stocks buoyed the market to not fall even lower.
