KTC Continues to Decline after Morgan Stanley Sells 110Mn Shares in Big Lot Transaction
KTC continued to drop lower after Morgan Stanley sold 110 million shares in a big lot transaction to book more than 1,000 million baht of profit.
The share price of Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC) closed slightly lower on Friday, May 28, 2021, by 0.34% to close the morning session at ฿73.25/share with a trading value of 4,049 million baht.
The share price continued to trade in a negative territory after a 11.45% plummet in yesterday’s session and a 3.06% drop earlier in the morning session today.
“Kaohoon Turakij” newspaper reported that Morgan Stanley made a big lot transaction by selling 110 million shares of KTC for a profit over 1,000 million baht after acquiring KTC’s shares three months earlier, leaving 15 million shares in its portfolio.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mongkol Prakitchaiwattana, a major shareholder of KTC, stated that he would hold on to his 10.45% stake in KTC as the company started to gain interest from foreign investors after an increase in the investment weight by MSCI.
