IP Signs an MOU with Prince of Songkla University for R&D of “Kratom”
IP signed a 5-year MOU with Prince of Songkla University to extend research and development on kratom and kratom extract.
Inter Pharma Public Company Limited (IP) and Prince of Songkla University (PSU) have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony on May 19, 2021 on joint collaboration to extend research and development on kratom and kratom extract and elevate to standardized production of supplements, nutraceutical, medicines and other healthcare products.
This Memorandum of Understanding is a 5-year joint collaboration until May 2026. Moreover, the project is funded by the Program Management Unit for Competitiveness to support further development of kratom for medical benefits.
This collaboration will certainly benefit healthcare of Thai people who do not have or have access to pharmaceutical products which ultimately lead to the development of the life science industry. This is in line with national healthcare strategy in driving Thailand towards being a center of excellence in medical and healthcare.
